| John and Brian's bday party. taking pictures takes a good 40 minutes. no joke. professional photographers come in, make them pose for a ton of pictures. I have to be in some pictures lighting the candles on the cake, or smiling at them. Then they have to have their picture taken individually, with the whole class, with the cake and presents, etc. etc. |

| John and Brian's birthday party. If we have any birthdays in a given month, then we celebrate all of the birthdays together in one day. All of the classes do this on the same day (in their own classrooms). The parents seem to compete to see who can bring in the most snacks and cakes. Needless to say this is a dangerous day for staff, because the majority of the food and cakes end up in the staff lounge. |

| John and Brian's birthday party-all 10 kiddos. The girl who has the boy's (Max's) arm around her is Emma. All of the boys (especially Max) LOVE Emma. They talk about her all the time, write about her in their homework...so cute. |

| Bulamsan-it isn't uncommon to see wild dogs or cats on the mountain. Jen and I call these animals mountain dogs and mountain cats. This dog is hiking with his owner. I want one!!! |
